Logline:

In Spring 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns, a drifting college student meets a free-spirited hiker, and their fleeting romance transforms her understanding of true connection.

Synopsis:

During the early COVID-19 lockdowns, Brigit, a drifting college sophomore with a strong case of FOMO, lives off-campus with friends who rebel against social distancing guidelines in a desperate attempt to salvage their college experience. When she meets Levi, a soulful college dropout hiking the Appalachian Trail, their instant chemistry and late-night conversations at a nearby campground give her a startling glimpse of a slower, more intentional way to live. As she convinces him to spend one more day together back in her world, the tension between who she is with him and who she’s been trying to be with her friends begins to crack her carefully constructed façade. When Levi returns to the trail, Brigit, now awakened to real connection, must choose between loneliness or going back to the inauthentic life she’s outgrown.
