Kersten Parrella

Kersten is an award-winning writer, director, and producer based in Denver, Colorado.

With a background in business consulting and social impact, she brings a strategic, thoughtful approach to independent filmmaking.

She is currently in post-production on her debut feature, Sophomore Year, 2020, while her music video, It’s Only Music, Baby, continues to earn recognition in the festival circuit.

A Denver Ventures member, Kersten is particularly interested in the evolving media and entertainment landscape, and in creating new opportunities to produce films outside the traditional studio system.

She is committed to building community, telling meaningful stories, and connecting with audiences. Above all, she aims to make work that comes from the heart and speaks to the soul.
